National Auto Sport Association Northwest – Pacific Raceways (Sunset Speed Spectacular)
September 5 - September 6

National Auto Sport Association Northwest Sunset Speed Spectacular at Pacific Raceways in Auburn, WA. Pacific Raceways is a 2.25-mile, 11-turn road course set in the Cascade foothills near Seattle, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most established road racing venues. The event offers four participation formats:
**High Performance Driving Education (HPDE)** gives drivers the opportunity to learn and develop track driving skills in a safe, professionally staffed environment. Four experience levels are available — HPDE 1 guarantees an in-car instructor for drivers new to track events; HPDE 2 is for drivers signed off to run independently at HPDE 1 speeds; HPDE 3 builds toward more open passing by the end of the weekend; HPDE 4 is for advanced drivers with open passing and requires pre-approval from the Chief Instructor. Passengers are permitted in HPDE 3 and 4 with group leader approval for passengers 18 and older. A complete tech inspection is required before getting on track.
**Time Trial** is for licensed competitors running against the clock. Open to a wide range of vehicles — production cars, converted race cars, prototypes, and electric vehicles — with weight-to-horsepower ratios used for fair class structure. A current NASA Time Trial license is required. Drivers who have not participated in a NASA Time Trial event within the last two years must contact [email protected] for screening and approval prior to registering.
**Sprint Racing** is wheel-to-wheel competition in a friendly, sportsmanship-focused regional race series. A current 2026 NASA Competition License and approved medical on file with NASA are required. Drivers who have not participated in a NASA race group event within the last two years must contact [email protected] for approval prior to registering.
**New Racer Competition School** is available for advanced HPDE drivers or drivers with prior racing experience who want to obtain their NASA Provisional Racing License. The school covers race starts, restarts, side-by-side driving, and flag review. Prospective participants must create a NASA profile, submit a Provisional License Application, and receive approval from the event directors before registering.
**Pro Pass** upgrade includes early entry, priority parking, a morning track walk with the Chief Driving Instructor, and access to the NASA Lounge with snack bar.
NASA membership is required for all participants ($79/year). Registration at track includes an additional $50 fee. Register in advance at members.drivenasa.com.
