National Auto Sport Association NorCal – Sonoma Raceway (Double Points Season Finale)
November 7 - November 8

National Auto Sport Association Northern California season finale double-points weekend at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA, with the Formula Car Challenge USA (FCC) joining the event. Racing takes place Saturday only with double championship points on the line — a significant opportunity for drivers in close championship battles. HPDE runs Sunday only with five sessions per day. Spectators are welcome, and passengers are permitted for drivers 18 and older with a wristband from registration.
**High Performance Driving Education (HPDE)** runs Sunday only and offers five groups:
**HPDE Intro** is the Toyota GR Novice Driver experience — a dedicated entry point for first-timers. Watch for a welcome email with important information approximately five days before the event.
**HPDE 1** guarantees an in-car instructor automatically assigned upon registration — do not select the instructor option separately. Each session is 20 minutes. Watch for a welcome email with event details approximately 10 days before the event.
**HPDE 2** is for drivers who have been signed off to drive solo. Each session is 20 minutes. For eligibility questions contact [email protected].
**HPDE 3** is a progressive skills group. Each session is 20 minutes. Sunday-only entrants must have completed a prior Sunday HPDE 3 event with NASA, or have sufficient equivalent track experience.
**HPDE 4** is for advanced drivers. Each session is 20 minutes. For eligibility questions contact [email protected].
**Time Trial** is combined with HPDE 4 and runs open passing. A current NASA Time Trial or Competition license is required.
**Sprint Racing (Saturday only — Double Points)** runs all regular NASA race groups including AI, AIX, ST, SU, NP01, SM, SE30, SE46, 944 Spec, Spec-Z, Legends, and Thunder Roadsters. A current 2026 NASA Competition Racing license and approved medical on file are required — an expired medical makes a driver ineligible to race. Online registration closes Tuesday at 11:59pm the week of the event; registrations after that must be done at the track with a $100 late fee for race groups.
NASA membership is required for all participants — annual memberships and event registration are available at members.drivenasa.com.
