San Diego Region SCCA rallycross at Ramona Fairgrounds (421 Aqua Ln, Ramona) or North Island Credit Union Amphitheater parking lot (2050 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista), depending on the event. Rallycross is a timed dirt motorsport where cars run one at a time through a cone-marked course — no wheel-to-wheel contact, and the only thing you risk hitting is a rubber cone. Any street-legal hardtop in safe working condition is eligible to compete, making it one of the most accessible forms of grassroots motorsport.

Two-day events run Saturday practice and Sunday points competition. Some events are single-day Sunday competition only — check the event listing for the specific format. Registration and check-in open at 7:30am; drivers meeting at 8:45am; first car out at 9:30am. SCCA membership required. Helmets required; loaners may be available.
